Susan & Todd’s Genoa, NV Wedding

Susan and Todd were the ones to open my eyes to the beauty of Genoa NV. They brought me there to get their engagement pictures, and to show me their wedding sites. I was taken back by the rustic beauty that was just outside of Tahoe.

Fast forward to their wedding and the day couldn’t be any more beautiful. Everything went off without a hitch. What stuck with me was how perfect this couple was for each other. They played a game during the reception. They sat back to back, with one of eachothers shoes. They would raise his or her shoe to answer who was most likely to fit the question asked. At one point they both lifted both shoes at the same time, it shocked everyone how much they got right. I think you can see the compatibility in the photos of them together.

The Double T is a slice of the wild west. The owner spend the last 30 years recreating a downtown main street that you would see 100 years ago, complete with a bank, museum, and real train.

The beginning of this wedding day started with a torrential downpour. I didn’t think we’d get any pictures. Once we started getting ready the clouds broke and offered a scene we couldn’t have imagined.
